Actor, director and scriptwriter Stanley Feng Tsui-Fan is a native Guangdong, born to a family that practised Cantonese Opera. He was the deputy director of Chu Yuan and regarded him a teacher. He joined the Television Broadcast Limited (TVB) as an actor in 1971. In 1974, he first wrote and directed ''The Looks of Hong Kong''. Two years later, he joined Commercial Television (CTV) as a producer. After the collapse of CTV in 1978 he returned to TVB as an actor and producer. In 1981 he directed ''The Phantom Killer'' before resigning from the position of producer to become a full-time actor. Feng is a renowned supporting actor in Hong Kong.
