One of the Seven Little Fortunes with Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Corey Yuen, Yuen Wah, Yuen Tak and Yuen Miu

After working with Jackie and Sammo in several popular action movies, Golden Harvest film company tried to make him a star with "Righting Wrongs" (1986) which became the first of several personal projects produced by himself, as "Kickboxer" or "A Kid from Tibet", his directorial debut.

Edmond Fung Yuen-Man is his nephew.
