  After her studies in Canada, Theresa Lee returned to Hong Kong in 1994 to participate in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and won the titles of 1st Runner-up and The Media's Favourite Award. Theresa started her career in the show business by acting in drama series for TVB. Her performance in her debut film "What a Wonderful World", starring Andy Lau, won critical proclaim. [...] She was nominated for Best New Performer and Best Supporting Actress for "Who's the Woman, Who's the Man" and "Big Bullet" int he 16th Hong Kong Film Awards and she won nominations again for the Best Supporting Actress for "Intimates" and "Downtown Torpedoes" a year after. She participated in a musical "Snow White" in April 1996 and also appeared in TV programmes, commercials and advertisements.
