Here's some info for GHOST IN THE HOUSE, Ricky Lau's return to directing and his return to the 80's horror flicks that made him famous. Only it's not that great. But it tries hard. And Wu Ma looks like John Denver in it.

Looking at the cast list now, and by using a rather shaky process of elimination, I'm thinking that this guy:

Is Ricky Lau.

Anyone know what he looks like to verify this?

Sorry I think I added wrongly this credit. Lau does not appear in the movie as an actor. Fixed.

That would mean the younger guy (who plays the husband) in the photo from my last post is either Wan Chiu-Tak or Lau Hiu-Yik, and whichever one isn't him, is probably the actress who plays the little girl. Too bad both of them only have this one credit to their names.

One trick: you can search their Chinese characters in google images HK and sometimes you can find other images from TV productions.

Good idea. Seems to have worked.

Turns out he is Wan Chiu-tak (aka Yin Chao-te/Yin Zhao-te). Updated his image accordingly

Which leaves the little girl who's practically the main character unidentified. Hmmm...

Country of origin should also be changed to Taiwan.

This site seems to provide an alternate title as well, GHOST MOTHER. Looks like the year might be 2005, not 2007! Can anyone confirm from this link?

The shaky translation via Google Translator of the review suggests it might also be a remake of an old Taiwanese movie, but I can't tell for sure.
