It is a Rarescope release:

http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.540931/qx/details.htm

Which leads to a question I want to pose:

The images on this disc are quite poor--OK to watch but very difficult to capture. I uploaded four caps a few minutes ago, ones I had made earlier today--the quaility it somewhere between atrocious and barely acceptable.

They are here:

http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/images.mhtml?id=10058&display_set=eng

There is a link that has good portraits of the cast--it looks like the person who did these cropped and resized image then took most of the color out, leaving just enough for a bit of contrast. That link is here

http://www.angelfire.com/az3/chia/casth/3fc.htm

Obviously someone--possibly someone who is or was a member of this board--did a lot of work on these images.

My question is: Should I continue to do screen captures since we have a link to a source with images better than most that I will get?

The time and effort isn't an issue--I happen to have a lot of time just now--but wondering if having the link already in the DB is sufficient for our needs.

From the first 15 minutes or so it looks like quite good--almost non-stop sword fighting action.

That's HKMDB immortal Bruce's page :-) Not sure why he hasn't uploaded them here, but there are quite a lot of films where that's the case. I don't think it does any harm to get a new set of portraits.

Thought it might be Rarescope - guess I'll have to order it :-D

I did my cast photo page on that film several years ago, using different source material. When I originally began doing my cast photo pages, I was not yet an HKMDB editor. I began adding photos to the HKMDB for actors who had no (or few) photos in the HKMDB (to aid in identification purposes), but I am not inclined to upload all the photos on my pages to the HKMDB.
