2 bios, Ha Kwong-Li and Peng Kong

Postby Young Master » Wed Jan 17, 2007 6:34 pm

I've tried to do 2 biographys, couldn't find any bios for the following actors on internet so I used a Eastern Heroes tape as source

Are they ok and in shape for DB?

Ha Kwong-Li

Taiwan-born actress Ha Kwong-Li was discovered by director Lee Tso-Nam. At a young age she was enrolled in the Liu Kwang Opera Troupe and her tall slender figure was an asset to her kicking which became her trade mark in the films she appeared in. Besides working in movies Ha Kwong-Li was also occasionally working on television in Taiwan.

Peng Kong

From the age of 8 Peng Kong studied Peking Opera, and upon completion he entered the movie-industry in Taiwan. When he was in the cast as one of the spearmen in "Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin" he catched Jackie Chan's eye and was subsequently recast in Jackie’s next features. As time went on he got renowned for his daring stunts and skillful choreography. Back in 1996 Peng Kong was known to run an escort agency with his brother.

Thank you very much! We need more bios :-)

Added, except for the bit about Peng Kong running an escort agency... fascinating as it is, it's a bit 'tabloid gossip' :-)

btw, are we sure that the Do Liu-Boh who has an alias 'Lee Tso-Nam' isn't actually Lee Tso-Nam

I think they are probably the same Lee Tso-Nam's. I read a review of Fists, Kicks, and the Evils at kungfucinema and Mark Pollard have credited him as Do Liu-Boh but mentions him in the review as Taiwanese director Lee Tso Nam and that he is playing a role.
