Aren't there two movies here? A 1983 movie and a 1997 movie (possibly remake)? I can't imagine the 1983 movie would have "1997" in the title and star Anita Mui & Tony Leung Chiu-Wai

edit: LoveHKfilm places Mad Mad 1997 in 1992:
