We must put the names as they appear in the english credits. If they appear in several ways in different movies, we must put them as they appear in more movies. That is the reason we put JACKIE CHAN instead SING LUNG and JINTANA FERREIRA instead of CHIANG KIT. It does not matter if they are in cantonese, mandarin or swahili.
You will not never find "GEUNG HING LOONG" in any movie, but this is the main name we have in our DB. This is not correct

That is the reason why I wrote "if nobody objects in 15 days...". Mr. Ryan, and everybody, has a deadline of 15 days to say "I disagree". If in 15 days nobody says nothing, I do the changes.

I think Mr. Guilao referred to the name display in searches. Now when you search for a name, it appears is main english name and his chinese name in the same display.
Bruce wrote:Has this new "standard" been implemented yet? If yes, it should be complied with. If no, then name changes like these should NOT be made until the new standard is announced and complied with.
If I am wrong, and there is another "standard" in the next two weeks, do not worry, I will wait these two weeks before beginning to change main names.
I think you are worried for the Shaw actors and not for the Shaw crew members (because of your own site). If this is the case, I can change only the crew members (Geung Hing Loong, Li Kei, Chow Fook Leung, etc.), because you are not interested in them.
Actually I am not very interested in actors, but in crew members.
