I've decided to start a thread to track this venerable character actor's credits. If not in life, at least in death, his due should be given.<br><br>Scholar in a Buddhist House, 1953 - pal of Kui, dancing partner<br>I Am Murderer, 1963- servant<br>Youth's Love, 1967 - housekeeper<br>Rich and Prosperous, 1964 - salesman<br>Matchmaker/Modern Matchmaker, 1963 - vegetable seller<br>Happy Years, 1967 - store asst.<br>Red Thread Steals A Precious Box, 1963<br>Flying Fox, 1964 - servant<br>Buddha's Palm Pts 1, 3 <br>Lady Songbird, 1968 - hotel clerk<br>Hero and the Beauty pt I, 1965 - tavern worker<br>Lucky Seven, 1970 - pickpocket victim<br>Oriole's Song, 1956<br>Young Boss At The Factory, 1963 <br>Prince of Thieves Pt 1,2 1958 - one of the princes in his namesake role!<br>White Dragon, 1968 - waiter in noodle house<br>Dunce Bumps Into a Ghost, 1957 - tavern worker<br>Paying Nocturnal Mourning to White Lotus - servant *not sure which version I saw, possibly the date listed should be 1956? OK, all done :) It's expanded his filmography quite a bit, but I'm sure there's still many more films he appeared in - he seems to be the eternal servant in many films!<br><br>Do you fancy adding a small bio for him too?<br><br>You should ask Ryan about becoming an editor, btw - you watch a lot of the older films that few other people seem to see, so I'm sure you could add a lot of good info :)<br><br>

Thanks, and yes I'll have few more for him to add soon.<br><br>I'm afraid I can't add much info other than cribbing from some HKIFF publications. He's just one of those guys you can't forget once you've seen him.<br><br>I'm thinking of starting a thread for a couple other character actors (don't worry, they have broader roles).<br><br>Yeah, I'm hooked on those 50's b/w films but my Juk Sing Cantonese only gets me so far.<br><br>/yssy
