Opium and the kung fu master, that is

Postby pjshimmer » Sun Apr 08, 2001 2:07 am

Doh. I messed up the title completely. Kung fu and the opium master doesn't even make any sense, but I guess I wasn't really thinking.

Speaking of adding titles, can you also add "Descendent of Wing Chun"? I think it stars Norman Chu and some other oldies...

There seems to be 2 diff versions with the same title. One released in 1978 and dubbed in Eng., the other starring Norman Chu and was filmed later.... or maybe they are the same, directed by Wang Ha. Well, I'm looking for the one with Norman Chu.

Here is a link to a poster I found: http://www3.sympatico.ca/ultra8/descwing.jpg. The Mandarin pinying is/should be: fuo2 shan1 zan4 xian1 sheng1, similar to that of Warriors Two.

They are both the same. Norman Chu is in Descendants of Wing Chun, along with others such as Fung Hark On and Lee Hoi Sang. When it came on TV in the US a while ago, it was released as EAGLE's SHOWDOWN.

Silver Fox

Desc of Wing Chun

Postby STSH » Sat Apr 14, 2001 1:51 pm

Okay, I've added it, with five of the cast. I can't read char3, and knowing it is zan4 in Mandarin is no help. PJ (or anyone), can you point to it in another movie title ?

Also, any brave soul who'd like to zoom up the poster and read the remaining actors ? There are a few to be added.
