Looks for me like the same person (or they are brothers):

Updated also the cast of Ying Xiong Wu Dan (1989) with Chiu Ming-Hsian in the credits.

According to this site,

https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E9%82%B1% ... 1%E6%B4%AA

Chiu Ying-Hong debuted in TV as an stuntman in 1976, but he did not appear in movies until 1985.

(Chiu Ming-Hsian debuted in films in 1982)

Thanks for the information.

It is still possible that they are similiar looking brothers.

In Ying Xiong Wu Dan (1989) with Chiu Ming-Hsian in the credits it looks with the hairstyle very much like Chiu Ying-Hong, but sadly no close ups.

Baidu Baike is same as Wikipedia - edited by volunteers, so the data may be not 100% accurate.
Especially the data about Taiwanese movies and TV-series.

I also think that they are the same person.
Maybe the name "Chiu Ming-Hsian" is a different person's name, and the ID is wrong, but I think the guy on the images tagged to Chiu Ming-Hsian is Chiu Ying-Hong.
Considering, that in "A Girl Rogue" and in "Five Fighters from Shaolin" he has leading roles, probably Chiu Ming-Hsian's ID is also right.

Taiwan is not a big country, so I doubt there will be too different martial arts actors, who look THAT SIMILAR and work at about the same time.
Also, they have the same family name.
Also, if not "Ying Xiong Wu Dan" than Chiu Ying-Hong's credits start when Chiu Ming-Hsian's end, so maybe in between he changed his name.

They could be brothers, but still sounds strange that Chiu Ying-Hong entered the industry in 1976, and for 9(!) years didn't appear in movies. The small but super prolific industry, where not only stuntmen, but also producers, production managers, gaffers, makeup artists and other crew members appear as actors.
I think that the author of Baidu Baike page just didn't know, that Chiu Ying-Hong used a different name.

I just checked again what's written in Baidu.
Chiu Ying-Hong debuted in TV as an stuntman in 1976, but he did not appear in movies until 1985.
(Chiu Ming-Hsian debuted in films in 1982)

Actually, it says that:
"In 1976 he entered Movie and TV industry as a stuntman."
"In 1985 he started to serve as martial arts director along with acting"

So what happened to him in 1985 is that he also became a martial arts director, and was combining this job with actor's job.
But it doesn't say if he did or did not appear in movies as an actor before 1985

Thanks for you input.

Unfortunately I have not more proof.

The Chiu Ming-Hsian ID should be correct, I also checked VILLAGE BROTHER (no cast page image, added role name. I have only the "ninja edit") and CRISIS and it`s the same actor as in FIVE FIGHTERS and GIRL ROGUE. He was a good acrobat at that time, doing acrobatics in all 4 movies.

One of the first jobs credited for Chiu Ying-Hong are the LUCKY SEVEN movies directed by the same director like GIRL ROGUE and VILLAGE BROTHER with Chiu Ming-Hsian - no proof, but a hint.

I think it is very strange that an actor who plays a leading role in 1988 under the name of Chiu Ying-Hong, the following year used his old name again to make another film.

I would wait a while to see if more images from other movies of him appear.

The shape of the top of the ears is different. In Ming-Hsian it is round, and in Ying-Hong it ends in a peak.

When you're a stuntman and a martial arts actor, you can easily damage or deform your ears
But if you want to compare ears, check that the shots are not flipped, otherwise you'll compare different ears.

Still not convinced. I found ???? (the last movie of Chiu Ming-Hsian) is in YouTube. If you say the minute he appears, I will check if he is similar to "Gunman from Nowhere".

He appears around the 35 minute on the street as angry boyfriend or pimp of Hsiao Hung-Mei.
