Magic Blade - wrong chess player

Ng Hong Sang is not the 2nd chess player Hsia Yi (partnering Kong Yeung). He plays the cowardly swordsman who directs a later fight from a throne, then runs away. I cannot remember this character's name.
I am confident that the 2nd chess player is Wong Wing Sang.

The 2nd chess player appears for less than a second, and would need a freeze-frame to be certain.

I am very confident that this guy is Ng Hong Sang. He does not have any of the facial features of Chan Shen. Perhaps he played two roles ?

I would like to agree with you, but I can not say what I do not think so. I'd like to agree with all identifications in the forum - but this does not always work .

Is there an opinion of a third party (apart from my brother, who agrees with me)???

I think an image capture of this character (from the actual movie - the pic above is not this character from The Magic Blade) is in order, placed next to similar images of the two actors in question. I would not normally dispute one of MK's IDs, but I think there is a case for this one.

There is also a possibility, though marginal, that MK and I are referring to two different characters.
