Thanks.
I don't know why you removed the descriptive roles, they are taken directly from Derek Elley's review(s). The minor character names are meaningless unless you can read the Chinese subs. Even the main characters names are not on the film credits.
Anyway, I thought your rule (#2) was discussed and subsequently removed.

I found that several people have begun to add absolutely absurd descriptive roles again. For example, in this movie "Lost on Journey", one of them was "WEI, HANDSOME GUY" and that was enough for me. If we add role descriptions like handsome guy, ugly guy, lesbian girl, homosexual guy, beauty girl, etc. to roles with proper noun, this would be the neverend story again.

If anybody wants to explain that one character who already as proper noun, is the wife, the daughter or the mother of the main character, must be done in the Review, or in the Summary of the movie, but not in the cast list.

It wasn't gratuitous. I used it as his nickname not a descriptor. I thought I had changed it to Dawei/Handsome Guy (caps) but maybe not - it is the nickname that the girls and Niu Geng/Niu Dan on the train called him - actually, looking it up now, it s/b Mr. Handsome. And he's called that more than Wei/Dawei (2:1) from what I can recall.

I probably would have deleted it myself - over time. :D

I asumed that was not gratuitous. But the character has a proper noun. For example, if the dialogue would be:
"Hey, cop"
"My name is officer Chan!"

Perico Palotes .... Officer Chan, cop

Not necessary!

And... 's partner, s' husband, etc.... example:

Jackie Chan ... Chan Ka-Kui/Lin Fu Sheng, cop
Michelle Yeoh ... Capt Yang Chien Hua, Chan's Mainland partner cop
Maggie Cheung Man-Yuk ... May, Chan's fiancee
Kenneth Tsang Kong ... Khun Chaibat, Triad boss
Yuen Wah ... Panther, Khun's right-hand man
Bill Tung Biu ... Uncle Bill, Chan's boss
Lau Chi-Ming ... PRC Capt. Chen Hsiang Tung, Uncle Bill's boss

Pain in my eyes!
