Born in Tokyo, she debuted in NHK TV's "Alice of the Country", followed by the period drama "Dokuganryu Masamune" in 1987. Next year she debuted in movies with the leading role of "Love Story o Kimi" ("Memories of You"). After 10 movies, she retired in 1995.
