Biography |
|
| Singer, composer, keyboardist and actor. Top superstar Cantonese pop performer from 1979-1992.
Danny, Leslie Cheung and Paul Chung were in the two youth films " Applause " and " Unemployed " in the early 1980s, and they belonged to the same manager Tan Guoji. The three were called "Three Swordsmen" in Chinese or "Three Musketeers" in English.
On May 18, 1992, a possible accidental combination of alcohol and sleeping pills put Danny into a 17 month-long coma from which he did not recover. Friends and colleagues of Chan speculated that he perhaps suffered from depression. |
