Biography

	began to write scripts for TVB during his schooldays and after his graduation from Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1975 he also began his film career, first as scriptwriter and finally as director (debuting with "Affairs" in 1979) and producer (appointed as Executive Director of D & B Film Company in 1986). For this company Shin began a long and fruitful professional relationship with producer Dickson Poon until the fall of D & B in 1992.
