Summary |
|
A variation on (the US) Pretty Woman.
Cosmetician Angel makes a birthday wish to snare top businessman Vincent Lam. Vincent is pushed by his girl-mad godfather Stephen to stop thinking business and chase more women, while Angel's loudmouth best friend Paula pushes her to stop dreaming and be more practical. Vincent's car breaks down one day, and he marks time in a games arcade, and meets Angel. Yuen King Tan explosively interrupts their first dinner date. Vincent invites her to join his company, but insists that they stay just friends, much to Angel's annoyance. And Vincent's ex-girlfriend Josephine floats in and out of the story, causing suspicion and misunderstandings. Meanwhile, Stephen and Paula, who can't stop getting agro at each other, draw closer together. |
