Good flick with two of my favorites: Leung Kar Yan and Wen Li Peng. The flick could’ve been very good. The recipe for success was there however I felt that everything fell apart towards the end (the ending and Fong’s love interest). Wen Li Peng plays a contract killer named Minute Fong Chin. He disposes of his kills in at least one minute. He never loses! Fong works for a group headed by Chow Sau Tung (Leung Kar Yan), but per policy, he has never seen his employer’s face. Minute Fong, with a love child on the way, starts to take his assignments halfheartedly. His employer, Chow Sau Tung, begins to sense this and figures that Fong may leave him any day to become a “normal” man, so he hires two assassins to finish off Fong and his contracted kill, Old Man Lai (played by Su Chen Ping). You guessed it. Fong backs out, then Chow Sau Tung’s hired hitmen kill off Lai. While in town trying to find Lai, Fong’s priorities get all mixed up as he makes friends with a young boy and his Mom and unknowingly, Old Man Lai. On one unlucky day, Minute Fong finds out that his “new” family along with Old Man Lai is killed unceremoniously. It’s time for revenge! An excellent showdown takes place between Minute Fong and Chow Sau Tung. Tracing Boxing versus the Rolling Style. Excellent finale and for the most part, a good movie.
