Reviewed by: pjshimmer Date: 04/17/2003 Summary: not bad very complicated plot to start with. the beginning has absolutely nothing to do with what's to follow, so it might be misleading - do not think that Norman Chu is the main character. He only appears for about 10 minutes in the whole film. Lau Wing, on the other hand, is the star. Some okay swordplay, but not up to the standards of the outstanding Shaw Bros productions of the era, namely Bastard Swordsman 1 & 2, Lady Assassin, Secret Services of the Imperial Court, & Holy Flame of the Martial World.
