Summary: Also known as the SHADOW BOXER

Not really a sequel, the only thing in common with the first is the theme and WAng Yu.

I do agree with Mr Booth that this is like a Mr Vampire movie but i found it below that standard. The kung fu never really starts until after the 2nd half of the movie and then that theme takes over

Liu Chia Hui plays his part well, it's unfortunate the commerical i saw gave away the biggest twist in the movie. Wang Yu just breezes though his role.

There is some comedy here but not that much. The fighting is average but the interesting part is the vampire kung style Wang Yu performs, quite strange

Overall watchable but nowhere near a Mr Vampire movie

**** THE SHADOW BOXING (aka Spiritual Boxer II). I guess this was the first HK film to feature hopping vampires? It pretty much sets the template for the Mr Vampire series/genre, and is very nearly as good - in some ways better. An excellent film that for the time was certainly a very novel direction to take a martial arts film in. I recommend watching in Cantonese.
