Summary: Pretty good actioner with boneheaded plot

A perfect example of the "The purpose of this story is to set people up to kick the stuffing out of each other regardless of how stupid it seems" theory of movie-making.

The action's pretty good, but the pace isn't nearly fast enough to make you forget holes in the plot. And there are so many, it's hard to know where to start. One example - B Li infiltrates the suspect's school, and almost immediately gets himself thrown out because he stands up for some stranger, then he wallops the same stranger in the next scene when he tries to stop him fighting.

You'd expect good action choreog from Bruce Leung, and he doesn't disappoint. Leung has a limited role as an actor, but he hams it up and clowns around and makes the best of it.

There are two main actresses. One plays LuLu, a sassy tart who spends much on-screen time topless or in a see-through nightie. Yum yum. The other is SuSu (actress not named), sweet young girlfriend of Ching See.

No classic, but an okay actioner.
