Summary
Wong Fei Hung (Jackie Chan), his father (Ti Lung), and their servant are going home by train. Hung accidentally catches a great warrior (Liu Chia Liang) opening a box and mistakes him for a thief. In fact, the warrior was trying to secure a priceless sculpture that the foreigners have seized. Hung and the warrior get their boxes mixed up, and Hung's ginseng ends up with the warrior and the warrior's scukpture is now with Hung. Upon arriving home, Hung encounters some problems with the man who requested the ginseng, so his mother (Anita Mui) decides to sell her jewlry to buy new ginseng. Unfortunately they are one step too late, and when Hung's father finds out the truth, his fury drives Hung out of the house, where Hung is severely beaten by a kicker (Ken Lo) working for the British. Shortly after Hung is taken back, the warrior knocks on the door. He explains to Hung that if you let the foreigners take one sculpture, they will take all your sculptures. At this time, the British had already hired a gang to kill the warrior. When they succeed and steal the sculpture once again, Hung and his friend (Felix Wong) sneak into the embassy but get caught. To save his son, Hung's father must agree to sell his land to the British. Furthermore, mineworkers have discovered that the British are smuggling all kinds of treasure out of China. Enraged by the untolerable act, Hung and his friends rush to the embassy to save the mineworkers and protect China's treasures. But can Wong Fei Hung defeat the kicker who previously crushed him with ease?
