Pao Wing Cheung juggles his career as a voice actor in HK with hiswife Kitty's desire to emigrate to Canada. Things heat up when he works closely with his new boss Miss Tang. Standard story, unmotivated acting and direction. The only interesting thing about this movie is the irony in Christy being the only lead actor who didn't get to do scenes in Canada. Go watch _Neverending Summer_ instead for a better treatment of the emigrating split family phenomenon.

Summary: NULL

Appealing little drama, nothing special, about Pao Wing Cheung (Emil Chow), a cartoon voice-dubber whose pretty wife (Cecelia Yip) so fears 1997 that she emigrates to Canada while her husband rakes in cash from a lucrative new assignment. Pao's new boss (Christy Cheung) seems nice enough, but it grows evident that she's using Pao as the lynch-pin to her own success; and when sexual favors pass his way, obviously there's no resisting Christy. A breezy story of infidelity suddenly turns into an intense morality tale when the wife discovers the truth about Pao, and he tosses off his own blinders, realizing he's been used by people much smarter and Machiavallian than he could imagine. The strangest part of the movie happens at the very end, when cast members discuss their feelings about the characters.
