Reviewed by: jfierro Date: 12/21/1999 After her parents die, Joan Chen is forced to take care of heryounger brother and sister by herself. Through a misunderstanding, she ends up sharing a house with a ruthless criminal, who it turns out has a heart of gold. However, what starts out as a decent romantic comedy is ruined by deciding to take a needlesslessly serious turn towards the end, for the express purpose of jerking those tears.
