Summary: Abover average

A continuation of the first movie, this time Lo Meng is gone, u Wing plays another character, and the japanese are brought in as the new villians!!

Chen Kuan-Tai is the main villian with his over sized shurikens and blown up chest. His ulitmate skill is just way over the top!! It made me think he may have frog fighting skills!!

Lau Wing plays a fortune teller, which adds a interesting mix to the movie.

I guess my main grip with this movie is just how strong is Lau Wing and "papa" characters, i think both probably are on equal lvel with Norman Chu, and if so, do you think the villians would stand a chance?

Still its enjoyable to watch, the original had a good premise and story, this sequel had better characters in it

Summary: 6.25/10 - enjoyably daft

Some characters return from the original but more are new for the sequel, with the Bastard Swordsman himself taking a back seat for much of the film. The addition of Japanese ninjas makes the film feel (more) like DUEL TO THE DEATH... except not nearly as good. It's enjoyably daft with some inventive wireplay, but a lesser film than the first part.

Summary: good Sequel!

I have to say though, this sequel isn't quite as good as the original. It is more action-packed, with a fight every 5 minutes or so, but the story isn't complex and certainly doesn't appeal to the audience quite the way that the first one did. Also, not much swordsplay any more. Possibly more violence; the Japanese heartbeat controlling method of murder is plain sick! But overall, a good movie with excellent action and some legilimite humor. [9/10]

Hsu Hsao Chang returns in this no holds barred sequel. This film picks up where the Bastard Swordsman left off. Chen Kuan Tai also stars in this film playing a villain and uses the killing heartbeat. I guarantee you that it will blow your mind. This film is action packed and has enough sequences to keep you on the edge of your seat.
