Summary: beer glasses, shaped like boots...

when elflynn lo (alan tam), a naive immigrant from the mainland arrives in hong kong looking for his father, yu ming (eric tsang), a roguish character who believes that he is the son of billionaire lo (wong ching), takes him under his wing. well, not quite. yu doesn't really care if the two are related, he just wants to make some money out of them. however, elflynn and yu find themselves, along with investigative reporter, mildred (olivia cheng), caught up in billionaire lo's plan to assassinate a judge (walter tso) who is causing trouble for him...

a screwy farce, featuring tam and tsang indulging in various comedic antics, with mixed degrees of success. a few laughs, a few groans and lots of silliness. just what you'd expect, really...

Summary: NULL

Fast-paced idiot farce in the Aces Go Places mold, snappy popmusic and all. Evil Billionaire Lo is out to assassinate a judge, and it's up to a girl reporter, a con man, and a naive Chinese refugee to foil the plot. The circus sequence at the film's climax is a treat. Completely unpredictable.
