The Hellfire Angel

Showcasing elements like bad 1970's fashion, melodramatic acting, and not one, but two, appearances of the dreaded Pabst Blue Ribbon, The Hellfire Angel could have been a huge stinker. And even though the cover art oversells the action quotient of this picture, it actually ends up being a fairly solid crime drama that fans of the genre should get a few kicks out of.

Shock horror - a reasonably strong willed female protagonist in a 70s movie AND it's not Angela Mao!

Has a kind of interesting rivalry between the two robbers, but ultimately predictable.

It's surprisingly not that boring (the film is 93 minutes)

It seems to have a tail-end-of-the-70s-kung-fu-thing going on.

Has a couple of cool ideas, such as the polevault/circle of fire and the chubby kung fu taxi driver.
