Fung Bo Bo, the Chinese Shirley Temple. Very popular in the 1960s, and no wonder-she is precocious and so very cute.

The synopsis-The Bak family have a map to treasure, but must destroy the map before it falls into the hands of an enemy. The enemy attacks as the head of the Bak family tattoos the map onto Fung Bo Bo's body (after taking them forever to decide who to tattoo it on), and burns down their residence. However, one of Bak's daughters, Fung Wong Lui, is in love with Lam Ga Sing(?), who is also the younger brother of the bad guy.

I lasted about twenty minutes before going to bed. This film was so obviously made to promote Fung Bo Bo, with her (playing a boy) totally dominating the film. And I don't like films where kids dominate the film, because it's a sign it's not particularly good. But there is some good singing, especially from the man playing Bak.
