it should only be used as a secondary source - and even then only as a last resort IMO... there's far too much that's plain wrong
That's what I think but I didn't post this to beat a dead horse or embarrass anyone; I'm just alerting you guys or whoever the original editor is to verify & follow-up. I might have an old VHS of this title but it may be in a basement storage some 400 miles away (so it ain't gonna happen). I'm no expert on Jackie's filmography but if someone made an honest to goodness 'Elvis' citing, please verify and revise properly.
We may still have booboos in the database here, but they'll likely be fixed long before they would at the IMDB...
No affirmation needed there. Well my arms are getting tired mopping up all that backwash...it's just too frustrating & it stinks. I do get satisfaction providing them some rare 50s melodrama or noir title that they don't have but it's really the popular stuff that brings them out ot the woodwork over there. Boy do I feel sorry for their Indie KF genre titles. It's like every rabid fan whose armed with a video box has to leave their own mark, accuracy be damned.
Anyway, here on behalf of the original editor (or any editor who's written Chinese challenged). Listed from the poster image (probably compliments of our good friend Heinz as usual):
Starring (in Wade-Giles romanization):
Chin, Feng
(Betty) Ting, Pei
Co-starring (R to L):
Cheng, Wen Ching
Ching, Miao
Chan, Shen
with (R to L, a little harder to make out):
Li. Peng Fei
Li, Yun Chung
Li, Hao
Yueh, Hung
Tsai (or Chai), No
& maybe the last 2 (if last one horizontal over a label reading 'supporting cast') or last 3 listed vertically (real fuzzy but 2, 3 & maybe 3 characters respectively) undetermined by me. Now if one of the last 2-3 has a 'Chen' sirname like in 'Chen Yuen Lung' i.e. 'Jackie Chan' then I'm an idiot for crying wolf & bringing all this up.
P.S. Don't quote this yet but I read somewhere the cinematograher is a colleague of the 1st director: Chu, Chia Hsin, both who trained in Italy. I'll scan and post an image if I find the source to verify.
