Silly question, but is there a reason why Yuen Qiu is now creditted by her "old martial arts" name of Kan Chia Fong? I know this falls into line with the majority of her older seventies credits -- but does it really conform with the way in which she is now billed (ala this film and KUNG FU HUSTLE before it)? Here's the opening credits from this film...



Additionally, I have no idea who "Lee Yuen Feng" is, but whoever they are they most certainly didn't play "Auntie Fei" -- that honour went to Yuen Qiu as per above (see below English language end titles).



Additionally, Gary Mak's character is referred to numerous times in the English subtitles as "Dragon" (and as "Lung", which is the Cantonese word for "Dragon", on the soundtrack).

Of course, per the Yuen Qiu anomaly, this opens a can of worms as to what people "think" should be right. Calros noted, in a prior thread, that we should run with whatever proves the most common or contemporary entry for a title or actor name. Now that Yuen Qiu is back on the screen, do we continue creditting her as Kan Chia Fong...even though Hong Kong/Cantonese cinema no longer bills her as such?

That's a good question... I think that in the Loletta Lee/Rachel Lee case it was decided that the most recent name should be primary, so I guess that implies Yuen Qiu in this case. It's probably the name she's most widely known by now, thanks to KFH.

...and don't forget to remove the "Lee Yuen Fung" cast member, as no such person appeared in the film.
