Law Kei (1) is Law Gei-Sek!

I have good reasons to think that the director Law Kei (1)

is the same person like the director/actor Law Gei-Sek

Reasons:

1. Law Gei-Sek appears in at least 4 movies listed under the name Law Kei in the cast: LEGEND OF WIND, POWER KING, LEGENDS OF LUST (01)(see hkmdb images of him) and PEEPER'S STORY (see hkmdb image of him).

2. Law Gei-Sek appears as actor in KUNG FU STARS of Law Kei

3. The name Law Gei-Sek is listed as writer of Law Kei's DRAGON LIVES AGAIN and as producer of Law Kei's MY DARLING GALS

4. Not a good reason: Law Kei is a similiar name like Law Gei (Sek)

5. In an old article for BRUCE LI - THE INVINCIBLE of director Law Gei-Sek was Law Kei listed as director

If nobody objects I merge the two names in a few days. Law Kei (1) would be the main name.

Very possible is also that Law Kei (2)

Let's make sure we get a "before" merge listing. For some reason this one makes me nervous. The HKFA doesn't offer any clues to linkage, usually in the Chinese credits it will say something like "Law Gei Sek (later Law Kei)". An HKFA name search turns up different sets of aliases for each.

Looking at the HKFA My Darling Gals entry, as you say both names listed instead of one or the other. Why use both names in one film if they are the same person?

I'm not saying they might not be one and the same, but I'd like to see something more definitve before I'm comfortable with merging.

In the HKFA are many persons listed under two separate names (examples: Ma Chin-Ku, Chan San-Yat, Chu Tau, even Sammo Hung/Chu Yuen-Lung!).

I know examples of persons credited with two different names in one movie. At the moment I remember Chor Yuen, Chu Tau/Wong Kwok-Chuen (on "Vampire Combat" as actor and as action director) and Sammo Hung/Chu Yuen-Lung (as actor and as action director at "Hapkido", "Iron Fisted Monk",...)

I'm quite sure that Law Gei-Sek is Law Kei (1).
But if you or someone else are against that I merge the two names I can make a compromise:
I only change the new credits of Law Kei (1) to Law Gei-Sek and add Law Kei as alias to Law Gei-Sek. That is 100 percent sure: Law Gei-Sek is the actor Law Kei (1) in POWER KING, LEGEND OF WIND, PEEPER'S STORY and LEGENDS OF LUST. You can tell also from two moles in his face that it is always the same actor in the old movies and the new ones.

Someone else has a opinion? Or better more evidence (images of the director Law Kei would be great!!!).
