Had no idea Joey made another movie after Peony Pavillion, until I saw an ad for this movie ....... on the back of the DVD of Drink Drank Drunk !?

Yes, I saw it a few years ago at a film festival with the director in attendance. Been waiting for a subbed DVD to rewatch ever since.

If I recall correctly, Joey was reportedly acting quite nutters during the shoot, staying cooped up in her hotel except for the actual shooting. Don't know how true it was or whether it was just typical tabloid news.

The movie is quite good, btw. Highly recommended, and Joey is quite good dramatically speaking...and still eye-catching!
