Yeah, if those portraits are from any of his films, which only date to 1990, and he looks rather old in them, I'd question whether he could be an assistant action director on a film in 2004 (and appear on screen as well).

I recongise this Ng Wing-Sum so don't think the guy in another portrait is him.
