Most pages in the www (incl. imdb) claim 1996, but I don't believe this. It's been rated Cat II that has been already replaced in 1996 I think. So I consulted the laserdisc's backside certificate with a lens, and it's 1994.

The Hongkong movie version has only opening credits, and pretty dry they are in addition:


To sell this one, Yukari Oshima is credited first place here, but she has only a cameo part, probably taken from footage from another movie. Dick Wei who's also credited has only a minor part as well.

I've seen the VCD. The movie looks like a Taiwanese production (with Chui Seung Ha, Chi Kuan-Chun, Tai Po and Dick Wei) with new footage from Phillip Ko with him and Yukari Oshima. I guess Phillip Ko has nothing to do with the original Taiwanese movie.
I would be happy if we can find the title of the original movie and who was the director.
