Just to clarify - I'm by no means suggesting they are the same film. I'm pointing out that it seems likely they were made back to back, or at least rather close together. Hence 1972 and 1973, perhaps even flowing over to Deadly Fists Kung Fu (1974).

Well, the two films were definitely shot around the same time - possibly even simultaneously. Everyone has the same haircuts in both films :p
