James Wong Jim is the author of the music... of the songs of this movie. They were recorded in LP too.

If you want to add Norman Wong as co-composer of the music, you can do it freely because you do not remove the work of any DB editor.

Hi Calros,

Thanks for your confirmation. :D

I wd like to seek your definition of what constitute a composer.

Shd it include lyrist and music composure?

I for one would love to have credits for lyrics and song music added, as well as singers. This should certainly be separate from Composer. However, it would involve a substantial increase in the amount of data held for some movies.

Given the interest in who sang/wrote what song in which movie, I suggest this be discussed. But would Bob allow the extra space needed on his server, and countenance the work to add the fields ?

HK - movie definition of "music composer" is the man who creates and / or borrows (from other sources including other movies) the music for a movie.

The man who creates the music ONLY for the songs of a movie is a music composer, too.

The lyricist of these songs is not a music composer to me, but if the lyricist ALSO writes the music of the songs, is a music composer to me.

If anyone wants to create a new "job" for lyricist and singers, it is OK for me, but it will be very complicated because many movies have many lyricists and singers, you will have to separate them by (the name of the) song, etc.

Ah! Norman Wong, David Wu, etc. are "music borrowers" (film editors or sound editors who borrow music from other sources by other music composers).
