Yuen Tak and Douglas Kung...

Both Yuen Tak and Douglas Kung Cheung-Tak have aliases "Hung Cheung-Tak"! Even I'm not going to suggest they're the same person, but I'm wondering if some credits have been mis-assigned to Yuen Tak somewhere along the line?

If so, don't know how to identify where... does anybody recall adding Hung Cheung-Tak as an alias for Yuen Tak?

I also think Douglas Kung is not Yuen Tak (Tak is a better action director/director!).

Tak is listed as Richard Hung in "Born Wild" and in two international productions he is listed as Richard Hung Cheung Tak: "The One" and "Kiss of the Dragon" (assistant action director, Tak is seen in the making off of both movies).
Another movie with Tak and the name Hung Cheung Tak is "Angel II" (Tak fights Moon Lee in one scene).
But I think all the new movies listed at Douglas Kung are not Tak's work (I'm not sure with the 80s stuff).

Hmmm, if Hung Cheung Tak is definitely an alias for Yuen Tak, then perhaps it is the Douglas Kung credits that have been mis-assigned... a shame we don't have any pictures of him. I wonder what his background is? I've seen quite a few of the films he's directed now and I rather like his work, but I agree he's no Yuen Tak :)

On a tangentially related note, I'd say the chances of this Leung Ga-Bo being one person are slim:

Watched EXCESSIVE FORCE last night, and there's nobody old enough to have been a star in the 60's in the cast.

(my "only one person in Hong Kong" theory is starting to crumble :p)

Did you look at his photo image? He's maybe 12 y.o. in 1964. So, forty years later, he's maybe in his mid 50's? A youngster !

On the other hand, he's listed in the 1999 The Young Ones as a young/juvenile convict

I think it's a safe bet that Leung Ga-Bo from 1999 onwards is actually Leung Ka-Po, as both have worked exclusively with My Way films/Douglas Kung/Yeung Pan Pan:

In fact, it must be one of these guys, who were both in Excessive Force:

OK, I'll have to do the Calros method... if nobody stops me in a few days, I will move all acting credits from 1999 onwards from Leung Ga-Bo to Leung Ka-Po :) I'll add English aliases with (1) and (2) to both guys, to reflect the fact they're just different romanisations of the same name.
