it should be PERILS OF THE SENTIMENTAL SWORDSMAN. the Chinese title on that poster is the same one on the VHS tape that I have.

Also I think that I recognize a scene from the movie in the poster, of Lo Lieh gambling with his limbs at stake.

Oh really ? But the Chinese Characters on the Poster are different from these of meine poster.....

It's an alternative title, probably from Taiwan, which is notorious for releasing HK films under completely different titles. For example, A Warrior's Tragedy became The Invincible Power of Kindness.

The original Chinese title is Chu Liuxiang: The Territory of Souls. The alternative title in question is Chu Liuxiang: Sky Thunder Operation. If I remember correctly, there is indeed a Sky Thunder Operation in the film. So it would not be out of nowhere.
