I thought as much when watching it because Shi Xiao-Long was blatantly younger here than he was in UNDISCOVERED TOMB. My Way films being what they are though, it's possible the film was never actually *released* anywhere until 2004 (since they seem to be made solely for export)... but it definitely *is* a 2001 film (it just feels like it :p), so listing it as 2004 seems confusing

Annoyingly, the role names in the end credits don't always match the subtitle names... I'll update with whatever seems best from each when I can access the movie page

I got an other release. It's called 'Dragon Hero'. Same cast, but the picture of the title on the film is different.
BTW the characters show the same characters as those of 'Heroes of the East' (A Chinese husband)

The film did remind me of HEROES OF THE EAST in a few places (but only one of many kung fu films it reminded me of, in a good way). Mostly the NINJAS

Mine has a 'ninja cover', it's not the cover shown on kungfucinema.com. (perhaps it will show on Hongkong Cinemagic soon!)
The nice picture is on the film only.
It's dubbed (not very bad) and it runs 95 min. It's released by 'gold discs'.

Lead actor John Zhang only has two films to his name (both for My Way), but the guy has real skills. Not as an actor, unfortunately, but as a fighter he definitely cuts the proverbial mustard (and he does have a minimum amount of screen presence).

There was recently released Mainland movie with John Zhang called "An invincible hero" co-starring Ada Choi.

And yes, Chinese heroes is 2001. I guess the mistake was done because of Taiseng's release that was in 2004
