Anna In Kungfu-land (2003): Anyone keen to translate?

Per Raymond Yip's 2003 Christmas flick...
http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?i ... ay_set=eng

Here's is the cast and their respective characters (from the end credits):

Obviously, any translations on the character names will be in Cantonese, but below are the characters per the English subtitles to help people match everything up...

Miriam Yeung - Anna Shek
Ekin Cheng - Ken Kay (would this be a close phonetic for "Kei"?)
Wong You Nam - Sam Kay
Denise Ho - Zoe Pak
Mandy Chiang* - ?
Maggie Lau* - ?
Hui Siu Hung - Pak ?
Tats Lau - Fu
Lau Kar Wing - Master Wisdom
Turbo Law - Ox
Charles Ingram - Spencer
Yasuaki Kurata - Sword Shek
Cheung Tat Ming - Tournament MC
Lee Lik Chi - Fung
Cha Chuen Yee - Commercial director
Chloe Chiu - Nicky

* I am assuming these two played the twin martial arts sisters(?).

Hope this helps unlock the mystery! :)

Those images were uploaded several years ago, maybe in 2003. I think they were the first ones (or almost the first ones)

Part of the roles of this movie are written in chinese sites, and they are not always the same that in english.

楊千樺--飾石安娜
鄭伊健--飾紀大健
黃又南--飾紀世健
何韻詩--飾白素秋
倉田保昭--飾石劍
趙雪妃--飾妮 姬
劉以達--飾負离子
Hui Siu Hung 許紹雄--飾白老and one of these 開間閔閖閘閣閤聞閧閲閻閹闇闃闍闌闔闖關

I cannot decipher the 1st character, but Maggie plays 大飛 (Da Fei or "Tai Fei") and Mandy plays 細飛 (Xi Fei or Sai Fei)

As nice as the pictures are, I can't really see a need for having so many - especially as some are almost identical (in a few cases, literally identical as far as I can see!)

Anybody mind if I prune them? I haven't seen the film so I don't really know which ones best capture it, but if I pick the ones I like most from nearly identical groups it can't be too far wrong, right?

You can if you want, but there is going to be an overall house cleaning of images soon...and many of the images of which you speak will be excised...

I wasn't an editor back then, but the reason you probably see so many images on the film's image page relates to the film's original release. When released in 2003, Universe Films (the distributor) put up an official website and made available for download a zip file of promotional/publicity pictures. What you see on the database page is the entire contents of that promotional zip file.

Would you like the full contents of the PROTEGE DE LA ROSE NOIRE zip file as well? I have that saved here too... :P

Calros: Thank you immeasurably once again for your help! :D

What do we do in this instance...

http://www.hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mht ... ay_set=eng

...where a western actor appears but there is no Chinese name attributed to them (per above screen capture of the film's end credits)?

This is Ingram's sole HK credit (he was also in the Bruce Willis film TEARS OF THE SUN). Is anything added where there usually is Cantonese & Mandarin names (or Big5 for that matter)? I have added the actor to the DB, as his character is fairly significant to the film -- but he has no Chinese credit. Ideas? Or do I just leave his entry as is?

Baffled,

People usually copy the English into the Big5 name, e.g:
