Almost nobody speaks chinese here, neither do I. Your roles' screenshots (they were also in WebPAC) say:

Wai Gong Sang plays "活閻羅阮小七" Babelfish cannot translate his nickname. Is one of the lengendary three Yuen brothers, Ruan Xiao Qi. http://www.yutopian.com/history/liangsh ... iaoqi.html

Lee Wai Hoi plays "兩頭蛇解珍" = 'Two-Headed Snake' Xie Chen

Chang Wing Gaai plays "雙尾蠍解寶" = 'Double Tail Scorpion' Xie Pao

I think they are too strange roles... what does think your wife? I she agrees, I will change them.

I have a bunch of items for my resident expert to check. I'll get back on this (and several others previously mentioned).

calros, actually a lot of people here speak Chinese, including myself (mandarin). However few people that speak Chinese actually participate here in the forum.

Reading/writing Chinese (and doing it well), however, is an entirely different matter...as any student of Chinese will quickly point out.

I am certainly impressed with your ability, effort, and patience in looking up characters. Looking up Chinese characters (esp. obscure ones) in a dictionary is frequently a challenge even for literate Chinese adults.

Carlos is my hero - one who can't speak but read and write (which is very hard to learn) I can speak but hardly read (should practice more)

The Screenshots are in Webpac ?? Or did I missunderstood ??
Are there any pictures in Webpac too ??

Sorry! My english is not very good and sometimes I do not explain correctly...

WebPAC is only a database. No Images.

In this case (and a very strange case, because Shaw Bros. movies are rarely listed with all crew and roles) the credited cast is complete:

Wai Gong Sang plays Ruan Xiao Qi, but like the rest of the roles this character has a nickname I cannot translate. Anyway, added.

The other 2 characters had a nickname sooooo strange so I wanted to hear the opinion of a chinese speaker... but for the moment I added them, too.

I do not know how to search chinese characters in a dictionary. For me, chinese characters are only drawings. When I want to search a symbol I use a JAPANESE site which helps me to find them "by radicals" (that is, for a part of a symbol).

http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/cgi-bin/c ... wwwjdic?1R

As you may know, not all the japanese characters are exactly as the chinese ones, so sometimes I have problems... If anyone knows another better site...

You search characters in a Chinese dictionary by using a radical table in pretty much the same fashion you do with an online table.

It's a bit more fiddly, but you might want to try this one:

Also, the radical table in NJStar is really quite nice:

If you're using Firefox there's a few extensions for translating Japanese/Chinese characters...

https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/s ... =Languages

Dunno if they're any use!

hello Michael - Nice to meet You

Lau Jun Fai I could not tell because all his pictures In HKMDB show him mature with moustache which looks different - as far as I remember he played one of David Chiang's brothers in Dracula and the 7 Golden Vampires - isn't it? (There is not role name in his credit)

So somebody like to add the picture Nr.5 to Chow Kong ?

I am prettysure Picture Nr. 1 and 3 (and 8 and 9 left not sure show the same actor)

Yes, Lau Jun Fai plays one of David Chiang's brothers in "Dracula". I identified him 2, 3 years ago thanks to "Butterfly Murderers" (early scene), "Come from China" (big role) and "Stars and Roses".

Picture Nr. 1, 3 and 9 left show the same actor. I have a list with all the movies I've seen him and that are over 50! Two of his larger roles he has in "Profile in Anger" (violent death scene) and "Dirty Kung Fu".
