Probably nothing new to be found here, but you never know. I changed Claudie Chung from Production Manager to Executive Producer and added Won Kar Man as Production Manager, as per the English credits.

Please please do not do it!!!!!!!

Chinese credits of the producers team are usually bad translated in english!!!!!!!

Both Claudie Chung and Won Kar Man are Production Managers of this movie!
Claudie is production manager 製片
and Kar Man is production manager-in-chief 製片經理

And I see in your credits a third production manager, Patrick Yip, who is executive production manager, 執行製片

but none of them is executive producer! 執行監製

I will add the rest of your info (assist. dir., gaffers, costumes, sound...) very soon

sorry

I have to say I'm not entirely clear what the difference is between all the flavours of producer anyway... how does a Line Producer differ from a Producer from a Production Manager? I know that Executive Producers do bugger all except sign the paychecks or cancel the project usually ;)

btw, there seem to be more Chinese characters here than the English credits can explain...

No, there are 5 names in chinese and 5 in english and there are (almost) exactly what we have in our Db.

Line Producer
A producer who is responsible for managing every person and issue during the making of a film. Line producers only work on one film at a time.

Producer
The chief of a movie production in all matters save the creative efforts of the director. A producer is responsible for raising funding, hiring key personnel, and arranging for distributors.

Executive Producer
A producer who is not involved in any technical aspects of the filmmaking process, but who is still responsible for the overall production. Typically an executive producer handles business and legal issues.

Production Manager
Reporting to the film's producer, this person supervises the budget, hires the crew, approves purchase orders & time cards, and generally makes sure all departments are doing their respective jobs within the parameters of the budget.

And I add:

Planning
In the preproduction of a movie, the person who plans the budgeting, scheduling, casting, design and location selection.

producer: 監製
executive producer: 執行監製
production manager: 製片
planning: 策劃

presenter: 出品人 (presenter means "owner of the production company" and sometimes "executive in charge of production")

統籌 means one of these 2: "supervising producer" or "line producer", I am not sure.

Added 2 prod. managers, assist. dir., music editor, 4 gaffers, 1 of the 2 costume designers and sound recorder.

The credited cast was complete.
