Sound recorder Wang Yung Hua

Hmm, now I'm sure I've entered Wang Yung Hua as a sound person on more than one occasion in the past - a fact born out by the fact Firefox had Wang Yung H" in the remembered search field. But I can't find him now :(

Has he been removed from the database? Merged with a different name and not had Wang Yung Hxxx added as an alias? Have I just searched for his name and never found him before, then forgotten the fact?

Please help me find him!

Actually, I want to add him as "Sound Recordist" for The Invincible Fist (1969), but it looks like we don't have a category for sound man anyway.. has this always been the case?

Going back to 1999, the editor log shows no signs of a Wang Yung Hua. I manually searched the DB as well. There is a Wang Yung Lung, a Wong Hau Yung, and a Wang Yung Hseng. Other than that, nothing.

As such, the only possibilities are: he existed in Ryan's original 1998 database, and was summarily deleted at some point; or he was merged and that name was dropped after the merge. Both cases seem to me rather unlikely. Can you let me take a look at his big5 name. Either post it, or give me a web reference.

On the other issue, I have added Sound Editor and Sound Recordist job titles. If we need more/others let me know. We actually have a rather limited set of job titles.

I usually do the editions in chinese and I found you did not add these new job titles in chinese.
Sound recorder is 錄音
Sound editor is 混音

Don't worry Mr. Editor Assistant  I will search all your old posts and I will add the sound! (although I found some movies have dissapeared, as "My Young Auntie")

Added. Thanks!

Which leads to the next question: which job titles should we add?

Thanks - I guess what actually happened was that I kept seeing him credited for sound work, then realised there was no way to add that credit to the db, then forgot the latter fact and assumed I must have added him :p

been working mad overtime for about 4 months and my brain is just about shrivelled up now

There's somebody I always see credited for make-up (Fang Yuan?) that will probably be the next person I think has been deleted

Would it be possible to have a general "other" credit, with a field for describing what it was in that particular case? Doesn't sound like an easy change to me, but I'm not a web developer... :P
