Same name, same chinese credits, same period of activity... I wonder if they're the same person.

They are not the same person. Ling Hon (2) is not in the movies listed at Ling Hon (1). I splitted the name a few weeks ago.
I'm working on the identification of Ling Hon (1). He could be unknown No. 2 at that cast page:

I added 44 movies to Ling Hon (1).
His name is in the cast lists of "Behind the Storm", "Hellfire Angel", "Tea House" and "Beloved Son of God".
