Question: PERFECT EDUCATION 3

I wonder if the third Perfect Education is a co-production between Japan and Hong Kong. The movie isn't on the hkmdb. The director (Leung Tak Sam) and many of the actors involved (as Tony Ho and Lam Suet) are hongkies. The film is spoken both in japanese and cantonese. The three production companies are Same Way, Matsushita and Art Port. Could be one of these Sam Leung's own company?

I found some info on the Same Way's official website:
http://sameway.hp.infoseek.co.jp/movie/movie.htm

In this essay for the Udine's Far East Film Festival Catalogue Tim Young wrote: «Director Sam Leong meanwhile directed an elegant blend of erotica and art house stylings in the Hong Kong-Japan co-production Perfect Education 3, although the movie went straight to video.» Here's the complete essay: http://194.21.179.166/cecudine/datahost/fef2004/english/hongkong2004.htm.

What do you think? If you want I can post all the dvd screenshots.

That film is so HK as "Osaka Wrestling Restaurant" (same production companies), so IT MUST BE IN OUR DATABASE!

Of the 7 protagonists, 5 are chinese.
Half of the producers are chinese (this is usual in co-productions).
Director & writer, asoc. director, cinematographer and costume designer are chinese.

I WANT YOUR SCREENSHOTS RIGHT NOW! :x

Added the movie and added most of the people. 8)

It has been a looooooong work because most of the japanese names were new, but in the future it will be easier add info to Art Port movies.

I put Japan as production country because japanese company Art Port is the copyright owner.

A minor question: should we add Sam as christian name of Leong Tak Sam? I know that "Sam Leong Tak Sam" doesn't sound too well, but as you can see he often prefers to be credited just as Sam Leong.

Why do you say that?

You have put also "(Sam) Leung Tak Sam" in your own site :!:

OK, changed to Sam Leong Tak Sam.
