According to the vcd cover title the correct chinese characters of this movie should be: 如來神掌(下集)

...and not the chinese title now on the db: 如來神掌(二集)

Anyone could confirm my thesis?

All the things have their explanation!

At the beginning, "Buddha's Palm" was conceived as a film in two parts.
1. 如來神掌 (上集）[Buddha's Palm Part One]
2. 如來神掌 (下集）[Buddha's Palm Last Part]

Later the producers wanted to do two parts more,
3. 如來神掌(三 集）[Buddha's Palm Part Three]
4. 如來神掌 ( 四 集）[Buddha's Palm Part Four]

Obviously, they changed the title of the second film to 2. 如來神掌 (二集）[Buddha's Palm Part Two]

Thus, the second film was released with two different titles. In any case, if nobody objects in 15 days, I will add the second title as "alias" of the 2nd film.

And now is possible that Mr.Chinchanchung post another poster or credits photo which will destroy my theory...

Now this film has the largest cast of the series.


You may note that your title is longer than you said "如來神掌 下集 大結局" which literally means "Buddha's Palm - Last Part : Grand Finale".
