2. Have strong suspicion that in the beginning there is Dean Shek in one scene - there is some man hiding behind table and only his eyes are seen. I think it's him.
3. Carol Do Do Cheng? I tried to find her but to no luck. Can anyone suggest whom she played there?

Sounds like a good excuse to rewatch this film. I'll look for DoDo and Dean Shek.

Rewatched this fragment. May be it's not him but worth checking. Timing is 08:09 on Deltamac DVD - it's dark and he's not behind table but behind chair.

I rewatched my old LD twice this weekend and could not find DoDo. I'm thinking possibly someone mistook DoDo Cheng with JoJo Chan, the niece/daugher in the white hat. She almosts looks like DoDo and I almost convinced myself it was her but it's not. Couldn't find her name in the end credits either.

I did notice that the song John Shum plays on the piano is an old Bai Guang classic 'Waiting For You'(?). And, I think, the Shanghai Blues theme is used a few times in the film. Wonder if anyone can confirm that.

Also, is that Roman Tam singing during the end credits?

Anyone object to deleting Carol DoDo Cheng from the cast list then?
