Hi Ryan and Roark,

Maybe I'm inappropriately comparing Apples to Oranges, but just in case, let me try to explain this more specifically.

When I go to the "regular" homepage the and click on RYAN'S REVIEWS and then MOONLIGHT EXPRESS, I get this (which I presume is the original source of the info. transferred to the BETA test database):

http://202.77.222.15/cgi-bin/forum/read.cgi?t=152-1

Yet, when I go to the BETA site and search for MOONLIGHT EXPRESS, I get this.

http://www.hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=8485&display_set=eng

As you can see, the cast listings are different (and if fact, there were no cast listings at all in the 2nd example until I entered them).

Hope this clarifies things a bit.

Best!

Paul (imarriedajooksing)

Hey Paul,

I think I have to clarify the point a bit.

When my reviews is imported to this Db, the casts are not imported at the same time. This explains why there is no cast list in this Db yet.

The import is done by my buddy Eric by programming. It's okay for reviews input but not the cast list as I have to take care of the Big-5 users while the list on my reviews are not including Big-5.

All the entries for 1999 movies have to be inputed by myself from zero. Unfortunately, the Small Potato has been busy with too many things and the progress is a bit slow.

Hope this helps.

Ryan

I assume things are now okay because...

I went and checked the "Moonlight Express" entry and the names/people you (Paul) mentioned are now there on the cast and crew list.

BTW: This is my first post (and day trying this baby out). And yes, I'm still excited and happy to have been invited to participate in this project. Thanks, Ryan (and co.)!

I'm afraid not...

Things is now okay only because Paul has entered such information in the Db.

There are still lots of movies in 1999 without credits. One of the purpose of beta testing is to add back these data and test the editing interface. Hence, if anyone can add them, please do so.

Yvonne, would you like to submit your reviews here also? ;)

Ryan
