Unidentified movie.

I need help in identifying a movie, one that might be in the db but which I can't find.

One of the movies in a recently purchased "50 Movie Pack Martial Arts DVD Collection" is "Breakout from Oppression" (1978) which it is not--or at least not the "Breakout from Oppression" (1973) in our database. Here is the IMDB page for it:

http://imdb.com/title/tt0164879/

Many of the names on in IMDB cast list don't exist and the ones that do don't seem to be in this movie. Here are a few images from the movie with the names of the characters and actors shown in the IMBD. It is some redeeming characteristics. The IMDB probably has two movies conflated--it also shows the correct 1973 title and the right cast and tech credits.

Would like to find out if this is in the db or if it can be added if we find out enough about it. The description in the IMDB--woman gets out of prison, gets a job in an isolated town, bad things happen--does describe this movie.

I don't have the film, so I can't confirm it, but based on the cast and pictures it is very probably "Exposed to Danger"

Sounds like the 50 movie pack has some surprises in it. I've had this for months but haven't started in on it yet; those screengrabs have certainly got my interest piqued (although I can just imagine the A/V quality).

It is "Exposed to Danger". Thanks for the Luk Siu-Fan images (I'm a fan of her)

IDed by two HKMDB Immortals is about as good as one can get. I had watched more than half the movie, making some screen caps and review notes as I went with the dawning realization that whatever it was it was definitely not "Breakout From Oppression".

"Exposed to Danger" isn't so bad that it is good but it is so unintentionally dumb that it is funny. Reviews and images to come. I will post a few of Luk Siu-Fan of whom, like Michael Kistner, I am a fan, although in my case I have only been a fan for a couple of days. She is very attractive and a decent actress.

There are some gems in the fifty-pack although many of them have misleading titles and strange cast lists.

Oddly enough, there are two different "50 Movie Pack Martial Arts DVD Collection" sets; many of the films are the same in both sets, but some are different. "Exposed to Danger" is in the set from Mill Creek Entertainment (with Bruce Lee on the cover). It is not in the set from Treeline, which is the one that I have.

I was going to ask Ed yesterday which version he had, but I guess I know now. I also have the one with the generic martial arts guy on the front, and when I checked its contents online yesterday, I didn't see BREAKOUT/EXPOSED in the list, which is when I stumbled across the Bruce Lee variant. There seems to be a LOT of overlap on these, so I wonder if it's worth picking up the other version. Considering MillCreek/Treeline has several 100 Movie Packs (Horror, Westerns, etc) that combine previous boxes, I'm sure there's enough stuff out there to make a 100 Movie Martial Arts box, too.

(believe it or not, I think it'd be kinda cool to see these junky megapacks on Blu-Ray someday. A hundred movies at this quality level on three or four discs would sure save a lot of space and media! )

Most if not all of the movies I have watched from the Mill Creek collection are Treeline releases--or at least the Treeline corporate logo comes right after the FBI piracy warning and before the screen allowing the viewer to select which of two movies to watch.

Not sure if it is a case of pirates stealing from pirates.
