The comedy premiered Monday during the Shanghai International Film Festival. In attendance were executive producer Lau, Ning and the cast.

At the film’s premiere in Beijing yesterday, stars Cui Jian, Huang Jianxin and Chen Kexin could all be found in attendance. 　

The film, starring Guo Tao, Liu Hua and Xu Zheng, begins

Warner released the low-budget (US$400,000) Crazy Stone (疯狂石头) in Chinese theaters on June 30.

The heist comedy from 28-year-old writer/director Ning Hao (one if its producers is Andy Lau)

Ning, a graduate of Beijing Film Academy, won the Grand Prize at Tokyo Filmex in 2004 for his debut feature “Incense” (2003).
